We're the acid house and rave punks!
Another Acid House classic from the aceeeed kinds of fashion.
See pictures to see Danny Rampling wearing this tee in Ibiza, Sankeys.
1987, a seminal year for house music - when it all started to explode in the UK with clubs like Shoom (Danny Rampling) and Trip (Nicky Holloway), who were inspired by what they had heard in Amnesia in Ibiza. Where anything could go, and did - from chicago to pop music. It all suddenly made sense, where music had no boundaries.
Heavily influenced by Spanish DJ Alfredo who has never really been given his due credit, and a certain stimulant that felt like you'd been meditating for 20 years and infused you with compassion and love for your fellow man and made you feel like everything was going to be ok... In 1987, everything started to come together - and even influenced the likes of Stock Aitken And Waterman.. Suddenly bedroom producers from Chicago were getting to number 1 in the singles guide when you had to sell hundreds of thousands of records.
The biggest youth movement since punk, and arguably much more important than Punk ever was. From 87 and for at least another 10 years after, those were the days my friend... And this design is dedicated to the birth of acid house and culture that followed.
As worn by pioneering DJ and promoter of the first Acid House club Shoom. Prepare to be noticed, and prepare for respect - this is Future Past Clothing.
